David H. Freedman is a shareholder in the firm’s Corporate and Business, Real Estate and Creditor's Rights, Bankruptcy and Insolvency Practice Groups. His expertise in handling all phases of commercial transactions and his meticulous attention to detail are widely recognized and respected. Mr. Freedman counsels clients on a wide variety of corporate, business and real estate matters, with an emphasis on transactional and contract work.
Mr. Freedman’s practice involves all types of business and related transactions, including corporate governance, counseling clients on the appropriate business entity, preparation, review, negotiation and closing of complex contracts and documents, buying and selling assets, real estate or business interests, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, employment agreements and general business planning. He is also involved in a variety of debtor and creditor rights matters including workouts and liquidations, receiverships, and transactional acquisition and sale matters involving insolvent entities and their owners. Mr. Freedman regularly represents court-appointed receivers in state and federal court matters.
