Midwest Real Estate News Inducts Steve Sallen Into Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame

Maddin Hauser proudly announces that Midwest Real Estate News named President and CEO Steven D. Sallen to their Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame 2024 class. Steve joins an elite group of industry leaders who have made a tremendous impact in their field. The Hall of Fame distinction is a testament to his numerous contributions, from significant commercial real estate developments and transactions to advising clients on their day-to-day real estate and business issues. 

Steve has enjoyed a distinguished career throughout his 40 years of practice at Maddin Hauser. He devotes his practice to real estate, environmental, and corporate law. His clients include some of Michigan’s most successful manufacturing firms, real estate developers, general contractors, and commercial real estate brokers. 

In addition to his busy practice, Steve is deeply committed to firm leadership. He leads Maddin Hauser’s executive committee as its president and CEO. He also serves as Environmental Law Group chair and Real Estate Practice Group co-chair.

This Hall of Fame honor follows Steve’s recognition as the Real Estate Lawyer of the Year at REjournals’ Detroit CRE Awards gala. He consistently earns praise for his legal acumen in several peer-reviewed listings, including Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Leading Lawyers, and DBusiness Top Lawyers.

A few of Steve’s other most recent accolades include being named by Michigan Lawyers as a “Go To” lawyer in commercial real estate in 2024 and 2021 and being named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Hall of Fame in 2020.
