JO ANN McGEE assists our clients with all aspects of commercial transactions. This includes organizing and qualifying entities; preparing entity governance documentation; and drafting and reviewing acquisition, financing, and sale closing documentation. She also is involved in obtaining and reviewing due diligence for closings, including title commitments, title research, surveys, and local governmental approvals; handling mortgage foreclosure sales by advertisement for residential and commercial properties; and generating property depictions through Deed Plotter software.
Jo Ann earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree with high distinction from Walsh College in Michigan. She is an affiliate member of the State Bar of Michigan (Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section, Probate and Estate Planning Section, and Real Property Law Section), the Oakland County Bar Association (Paralegal Committee), and a life member of NALA (the National Association of Legal Assistants). Jo Ann joined us in 2002.
