Maddin Hauser Appoints Two New Executive Committee Members

Maddin Hauser Roth & Heller is pleased to announce Kathleen H. Klaus and Craig E. Zucker have been appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee.

Kate Klaus is a shareholder in our Defense and Insurance Coverage group. She specializes in complex professional liability defense (including lawyers, accountants, and insurance agents), employment defense, and appellate cases. One pillar of her practice is working seamlessly from initial intake through trial and appeal. 

Kate has earned significant recognition throughout her career, including being named the 2019 and 2022 “Lawyer of the Year” in Detroit Professional Malpractice Law—Defendants by Best Lawyers in America. In 2021, she was named among Super Lawyers Top 50 Women Lawyers in Michigan. Ranked in both Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers since 2013, Kate has also been recognized as a DBusiness Top Lawyer and Michigan Leading Lawyer. 

Craig Zucker is the co-chair of our Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Debtor-Creditor Rights group. His practice centers on bankruptcy and complex insolvency-related matters, serving clients throughout the United States, including New York, Ohio, and Florida. Craig represents debtors and creditors in federal, bankruptcy, and state court proceedings and through out-of-court workouts, mediations, and facilitations.

Achieving many accolades for his practice, Craig is AV rated in Martindale Hubbell and named among the Best Lawyers in America since 2010. Listed as a Top Lawyer by DBusiness Magazine in litigation-bankruptcy, he also has been recognized as a Michigan Leading Lawyer in the areas of Bankruptcy & Workout Law: Commercial and Creditor’s Rights/Commercial Collections Law.
