Maddin Hauser Expands Chambers USA Rankings in 2024 Guide

Maddin Hauser is thrilled to announce that Chambers USA has recognized two of our practice groups and three attorneys in its 2024 guide. Our rankings expanded this year, and the firm is honored to be acknowledged for outstanding work and stellar marketplace reputation in these areas, along with three ranked attorneys. We are proud to be named among the elite firms in Michigan, joining six other top Michigan law firms in these select practice areas.

Charles M. Lax continues to be identified as a senior statesperson in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation alongside the practice group in Band 3. As a shareholder and chairman of the firm’s tax practice group, this distinction highlights Chuck’s significant contributions and esteemed reputation in the field. 

Newly ranked for 2024, Harvey R. Heller and Julie C. Mayer earned Band 1 status for their expertise in handling complex defense and insurance coverage matters, while our Defense and Insurance Coverage group is named in Band 2. Harvey serves as chairman of that practice group, is a Managing Director of the firm, sits on its Executive Committee, and is creator of our Result Focused Case Management System^®. Julie, a shareholder, concentrates her practice on insurance coverage and professional liability defense.
