Time:
8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
With all the known and unknown dangers of COVID-19 (commonly “coronavirus”), employers must prepare and respond in compliance with laws that are rapidly changing. The World Health Organization declared coronavirus a pandemic. Governor Gretchen Whitmer has declared a State of Emergency in Michigan, with myriad Executive Orders to follow. Our federal legislature passed and President Trump signed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. This webinar will summarize the actions we are recommending employers take to prepare for what lies ahead, respond to the evolving requests and demands, and ultimately support flattening the curve while still maintaining business.
This webinar will review our recommendations for employers on the following topics:
- Communicate Your Plan
- Remote Work Opportunities
- Mandated or Permissive Changes to Your Paid Time Off/Leave Policies
- Benefits Available to Support Employees and Employers During this Transition
- Options for Responding to Reduction in Business Demands
Presenters: Ronald Sollish, Katie Brown, Charles Lax, Marc Wise and Craig Zucker
