Kate Klaus Named a Michigan State Bar Foundation Fellow
Maddin Hauser proudly congratulates shareholder Kathleen H. Klaus for being welcomed into the Michigan State Bar Foundation 2023 Class of Fellows. Established in 1984, the MSBF’s Fellows Program recognizes distinguished Michigan lawyers for their professional excellence and service to the community. The Fellows Program supports the Foundation in providing leadership and grants to improve the administration of justice and the delivery of civil legal aid to low-income individuals and families.
Kate is a member of Maddin Hauser’s defense and insurance coverage group, specializing in complex professional liability defense, employment defense, and appellate cases. She routinely represents lawyers, accountants, and insurance agents. Additionally, Kate is a leader within the firm, serving on the executive committee. A highly accomplished attorney, she has earned numerous awards, including Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year,” Super Lawyers “Top 50 Women in Michigan,” and DBusiness Top Lawyers.
Nominated by their peers, the opportunity to join the Fellows is only extended to a limited number of Michigan lawyers each year. With nearly 1,500 Michigan attorneys who are active Fellows, their contributions have provided more than $2 million to support the Foundation’s leadership and grant programs.
