Michael Maddin Honored with Jewish Senior Life’s Eight Over 80 Tikkun Olam Award

Maddin Hauser is delighted to announce that Michael W. Maddin was honored as one of Jewish Senior Life’s 2025 Eight Over 80. A prestigious honor, eight people are chosen for this award each year.

Each honoree carries a treasure trove of stories, their contributions spanning decades. They embody resilience, compassion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to Jewish values. Together, these eight lives represent a legacy of impactful “roll up your sleeves” social action and justice, grounded in the belief that we all share the responsibility to improve and sustain the world for future generations.

One of Maddin Hauser’s longest practicing shareholders, Michael served as president emeritus and an executive committee member until he retired in 2024. Throughout his over 50 years of distinguished practice, he focused on real estate, corporate and business, estate planning, and probate law.

Michael earned numerous professional accolades throughout his career, which serves as a testament to the high esteem he enjoyed from his peers. He is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and has enjoyed special recognition by Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, and Michigan Lawyers Weekly for many years. Michael also devoted significant time as president or chairman of many civic and charitable organizations.
