08.30.22

Maddin Hauser proudly announces that Corinne Rockoff, an associate in the firm’s Financial Services Group, has been named a Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) Rising Star.

In the relatively short time she’s practiced law, Corinne has set herself apart through her dedicated representation of the mortgage industry in both transactional and adversarial contexts. She has handled regulatory and compliance matters, risk assessments, broker disputes and litigation, borrower litigation, vendor negotiations, and more.

The MMLA Rising Star Award is awarded to the “Rising Stars” of the Michigan mortgage industry who show commitment to the MMLA, dedication to their community, and have positively impacted the mortgage industry. Past winners have come from all facets of the mortgage industry, including loan officers, branch managers, title company representatives, and others.

For almost 100 years, the MMLA has advocated for its members by providing resources, a legislative voice, and education to support Michigan’s real estate finance community. The MMLA is the ONLY Michigan-based association dedicated solely to the mortgage finance industry.

Corinne’s practice comprises real estate and mortgage litigation, general civil litigation, securitization transactions and disputes, title claims and litigation, construction disputes, and financial services, and unique work in the area of Sharia lending. She is admitted to practice in Michigan, New York, and the District of Columbia. Corinne is also a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan LGBTQA Law Section, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
