CODY CORBIN is an associate and member of our Defense and Insurance Coverage group. Cody’s practice largely focuses on employment litigation, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. Additionally, he routinely works with clients in the legal and financial industries to defend suits alleging malpractice and other professional liability issues.
Cody earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2018. While there, he received many academic awards, including multiple Dean’s List inclusions and the Dean’s Award for the highest grade in Torts. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Oakland University in 2015.
Before joining Maddin Hauser, Cody worked with regional firms, handling a broad array of litigation and transactional matters, including family law, commercial disputes, labor and employment, bankruptcy, real estate, and municipal matters. Alongside his experience trying cases, he has also briefed several matters before the Michigan Supreme Court and the Michigan Court of Appeals.
