ROBERT (ROB) D. KAPLOW, shareholder, concentrates his practice in estate planning, and personal and corporate income tax planning. Rob graduated from Cornell University and earned his law degree from the University of Michigan. He received a Master’s in Tax Law from Wayne State University.
Rob is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Taxation and Probate and Estate Planning Sections), the Oakland County Bar Association (Taxation Committee) and the American Bar Association (Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Section). He regularly lectures about tax and corporate matters before a variety of professional groups.
Rob has been named the Best Lawyers® 2021 Detroit Trusts and Estates “Lawyer of the Year.” Since 2013, his peers have continually selected him for inclusion in the annual edition of Best Lawyers in America in the areas of tax law and trusts and estates.
