Sydney E. Wright is a member of our Complex Litigation and Risk Advisory and Financial Services and Real Property Litigation groups. Her work encompasses a range of matters, including general business and contractual disputes, real estate and mortgage litigation, general civil litigation, construction disputes, and financial services matters. Before joining Maddin Hauser, Sydney represented hospitals, surgical centers, and rehabilitation clinics in insurance litigation matters.
Sydney earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2018 from Michigan State University College of Law, where she was a frequent Dean’s List honoree and received the Jurisprudence Award in Secured Transactions. While in law school, she interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Michigan. Sydney also served as articles editor on the Michigan State International Law Review and worked in the First Amendment Law Clinic, where she conducted workshops and presentations on student speech rights and privacy law. Prior to law school, Sydney earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, in 2015 from Auburn University. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
